Just moved to the area and we were looking for something interesting to do and this e-bike adventure was perfect for my family. The bikes are well maintained, easy to use after a brief test drive, and then you're off to see local sites, have local food and brews, and learn local history.

About The Adventure
AI-powered digital video! This will allow stories to be told from the perspective of the actual historical figure, creating a wildly immersive experience like nothing else out there. See, hear and feel their personal story in their own voice... It's like stepping into the past.
Meet your experienced guides at 348 East Main Street in Clayton NC (parking lot, you'll see our trailer and bikes).
After a brief safety tutorial, we do some quick orientation rides to make sure everyone feels comfortable on the bikes. Once we embark as a group from there, we begin our easy ride through town as we stop along the way for some fascinating local history.
About an hour into the tour we stop for a delicious lunch at a local hotspot for authentic Mexican street tacos (included at no additional charge). From there, we head to the famous NC Mountains to Sea Trail for some exhilarating e-bike riding, with some added scenic and historic stops along the way. We circle back towards downtown and end at a prohibition-style speakeasy bar, where you will be welcomed with a hand-squeezed fresh margarita... on us!
During your adventure, expect to learn about local heroes, NASCAR origins, moonshining, native tribes, Neuse River, milling towns, play alcohol trivia, and lots more!
For anyone that likes a fun e-bike ride, beautiful scenery, dad jokes, fun facts, and delicious food and drink... this tour is for you.

After you book your tour, you’ll receive an email/text notification with all the details, including the exact meeting time. Frequently Asked Questions
We aim to craft the perfect day where every guest departs with a sense of awe and wonder for this incredible area
What if there is severe weather?
Safety is our number one priority, so if weather is severe, we will communicate that out to our riders prior to the adventure beginning. We normally run rain or shine, so as long as the weather is not severe, we will still run the tours.
What is the cancellation policy?
Full refunds will be given if cancellations are made 72 hours ahead of time. Please note, we had to make this policy because when people cancel last-minute, it takes that spot away from someone else who is waitlisted. Thank you for your understanding.
Will there be parking at the starting point?
Absolutely. But some of the places we meet may have a limited amount of parking spots, so carpooling is preferred whenever possible.
Can I purchase new bikes through you?
Absolutely. We are an authorized dealer with Aventon E-Bikes. If you ride a bike that you love, you can ask to purchase through us and we can even build it for you. We also keep some brand new bikes in stock, pre-built, ready for purchase. Just ask and we can give you all the details.
How do the test drives work?
On certain days throughout the year, we offer FREE test drives. Just sign up, come out, and try out the bikes for free. No gimmicks, no hidden fees. Test drives typically last about 10 minutes.
Can I bring my own equipment?
You can certainly bring your own helmet, as long as it is a CPSC certified bike helmet, however we provide disinfected helmets. If you have your own E-Bike and are looking to use it on an adventure, please contact us first and let us know.

Reviews for this tour
Dave and Marlo were great tour guides. My wife and I have ebikes and ride the Greenways a lot, but we took the Taco Tour to learn more about the area and do something different. The food was good, the tour was fun, and we learned a lot more about NC.
Jason StevensonMy friends and I did a food and drink tour out of Clayton. It was so much fun! There were several stops along the way with interesting information about the history of Clayton. The ride along the Greenway was beautiful.
